Located in Northern California, Metal Saints was founded by breeder, owner, and handler Beth Horn. As a 3rd generation dog show fancier, I grew up immersed in dog training, attending dog shows and events, and actively participating as a leader in 4-H and FFA. I had several dogs that I competed with in Junior Showmanship, obedience and bird hunting.
After college, I realized that Saint Bernards would be my forever breed after meeting several and falling in love with the breed. I acquired my first show Saint in 2007 from Thunderhill Saints in Northern California. Since then, I have been showcasing top Saints, achieving multiple Best in Specialty Shows, group placements, and earning several invites to prestigious events like the Westminster Kennel Club and the AKC National Championship.
I am proud to serve as the President of the Sacramento-Sierra Saint Bernard Club and the Performance Chair for the Saint Bernard Club of America, contributing to the efforts of AKC preservation breeders.
I am also an AKC Junior Showmanship Judge and actively working towards my judges license for Saint Bernards and several other working breeds.
Metal Saints is an AKC preservation breeder dedicated to producing dogs that adhere to the AKC breed standard for conformation, temperament, and type. We believe that our dogs should not only meet these standards but also be functional in their breed purpose. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of dog training, ensuring our dogs excel in various performance venues beyond just dog shows. Our philosophy is that dogs should be well-rounded, proudly holding titles on both sides of their names.
